December 19, Phoenix – Happy Holidays everyone. Here are the third and fourth parts of my memorable conversation with Joe Garagiola.

Just_play_ball_2 Don’t forget that Joe’s book "Just Play Ball" carries that same kind of optimism and heart surrounding the game of baseball as was heard in those conversations.

Dan_haren I had the chance to have a quality conversation with new Diamondback Dan Haren on Tuesday. It will be posted in a few days. In the meantime, many wishes to you and those important to you at this time of year and let the countdown to pitchers and catchers begin.

P.S.-Do you see Joe in this pic?

    Hey, Daron!

Happy holidays! I’ve got an idea. The Diamondbacks have a fantasy camp for for people who want a taste of what it’s like to be a major leaguer. Why not, at the same time, host a fantasy camp that would give participants an inside look at what it’s like to be a big league broadcaster? You and the Gub’nah might even be able to arrange radio and TV b’casts of the fantasy games with Pre and post game shows. (I have an idea as to where, but I’m not going to say just yet).

    Hi Mr. Sutton,

My name is Tyler Jones. I am a HUGE Diamondbacks fan and I have been for all of my life. I am 11 years old and I live in Paradise Valley. I just started blogging today and I looked over to your blog to see what your views are about Major League Baseball. I met you one time when you introduced the new fields at McCormick Ranch Little League opening day. I wanted you to look at my blog, comment, and tell me what you thought.

    I’d really appreciate it.

    Tyler Jones
